We had the privilege to help honor Jane for her 85th birthday with this amazing cake and matching cupcakes. Liz and Stephanie helped arrange this beautiful 50s sock hop themed party and display for their mom (with the help of their other siblings and family) on Saturday. Chocolate and vanilla cakes with vanilla buttercream and edible image/fondant accents, plus matching cupcakes in lemon, carrot cake, red velvet, chocolate, and vanilla. Two weekends ago, we celebrated twins Emma & Cole turning 12. They chose opposite flavor style cakes and wanted a cool picture on top. Emma chose a rich, decadent triple chocolate cake with ganache filling & icing with a picture of her cat Poppy. Cole chose a strawberry shortcake of yellow cake, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream, sporting a picture of him kayaking. Both cakes were a hit! This may be one of our favorite cakes! Corinne’s next cake was for son Michael, crafted in mid July. This ramen bowl was epic. And huge! 2.5 full batches of gluten free vanilla cake, vanilla buttercream filling, covered in fondant, with hand made fondant ramen noodles, shrimp, pork, and onions.
