Today is my brothers birthday. So, yesterday we celebrated as a family. There is no denying he loves anything lemon. So most years, he chooses lemon cake and some kind of variation of filling/frosting for his birthday treat. Not realizing that last year he chose the same cake (blame Covid), he enjoyed lemon cake, with blueberry filling, and the most amazing lemon buttercream.
